KinaTech Brainz exists to publish practical, accurate and genuinely useful guides. This page explains how we choose, research, write, check and update what we publish, so you know what to expect from us.

Our standards

  • Accuracy first: facts come from primary sources wherever possible, such as official scholarship and grant pages, organizers' websites, company announcements, government sites and established news organisations.
  • Useful, original content: every article should help readers do something: apply for an opportunity, understand a story, make a decision or learn a skill. We write in our own words and do not copy other publishers.
  • Clear and fair: we explain things plainly, separate facts from opinion, and attribute claims to their sources.
  • Reader safety: we never list opportunities that charge application fees, and we flag scams when we see them.

How we research and check articles

  • Scholarships, grants, hackathons and accelerators are only published with an official link and a deadline confirmed on the official page.
  • News and trending stories need at least two reputable sources from different outlets, and we link to them so readers can check.
  • Opportunities are labelled "Closed" automatically when their deadline passes, and we update articles when important details change.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts, for example to search for newly opened scholarships, grants and hackathons, or to summarise widely reported news. AI can make mistakes, so AI-assisted drafts are checked by our editors against the official pages and sources before they are published, and they follow the same standards as everything else we publish. Our editors are responsible for every article on the Website.

Advertising and independence

The Website is funded by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are clearly separated from articles and labelled where we place them ourselves. Advertisers do not choose, review or pay for our articles, and advertising never influences which opportunities or stories we cover. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will label them clearly.
